DESCRIPTION
10 Inner Harbor's plans call for a new 59-story mixed-use high-rise developed by ARC Wheeler out of Philadelphia and designed by Robert A. M. Stern Architects. Located on the site of the former McCormick Spice factory the project will consist of a 1 600 space parking garage 225 hotel rooms (possibly a W Hotel) 150-200 condos ~75 000 sf of retail and as much as 500 000 sf of office space. ARC Wheeler purchased the site for $25 million in September of 2006. Development costs are expected by be at least $500 million. At over 700 feet 10 Inner Harbor will be the tallest building between Philadelphia to Charlotte. This article in the Baltimore Business Journal discusses how the project is in limbo.
