According to the Capitol Riverfront Business Improvement District: Akridge will develop the west side of Half Street between M and N Streets SE. 25 M Street will be a 704 000 sq. ft. mixed-use development comprised of office retail and residential components. The project is expected to begin construction in 2010. Akridge was awarded the land by the Washington Metropolitan Area Transit Authority in a public bid process and Architectural firms HOK Esocoff & Associates and StreetSense have been engaged for the project.
